Company & Position Overview

Large, established, multi-state behavioral health organization is seeking a VP of Talent Acquisition to lead and oversee the entire recruiting function.

This is a senior leadership role focused on owning Talent Acquisition strategy, managing and developing the recruiting team, and driving hiring performance across a growing platform. The role will also focus on improving systems, optimizing processes, and building a scalable recruiting infrastructure to support continued expansion. Strong clinical recruiting experience within healthcare is required.

The Ideal Candidate

High-energy, hands-on leader with a strong background in healthcare talent acquisition. Brings a strategic mindset but is also comfortable getting into the weeds, driving execution, and improving performance across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full Talent Acquisition team (~15)

• Own recruiting strategy across all clinical and corporate hiring

• Manage and develop leadership within the recruiting function

• Drive performance, accountability, and hiring outcomes

• Oversee high-volume clinical hiring initiatives

• Evaluate and improve ATS, tools, and recruiting infrastructure

• Build reporting, KPIs, and performance dashboards

• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning

• Establish scalable recruiting processes across multiple locations

• Ensure strong candidate experience and pipeline quality

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Extensive experience in healthcare talent acquisition

• Strong clinical recruiting background (required)

• Proven leadership of recruiting teams

• Experience overseeing full Talent Acquisition functions (not just execution)

• Strong experience with ATS systems and recruiting analytics

• Data-driven with a focus on metrics and performance

• Strategic mindset with ability to drive organizational change

• Experience in multi-site or multi-state environments
