Overview

A well-established medical equipment company in Orange County, NY is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to oversee its day-to-day financial operations. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of the bookkeeping function independently.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
• Strong payroll experience
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
• Strong ownership and follow-through
• Experience in healthcare or a related industry is a plus
• Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Process payroll and handle related responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Track and manage vendor payments
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Track expenses and company financial activity
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
