Annual Rabies Clinic and Pet Adoption Fair

At the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter's Annual Rabies Clinic and Pet Adoption Fair, residents may have their dog and/or cat vaccinated against Rabies or adopt a lovable dog or cat free of charge. Dog owners must bring a valid dog license or purchase/renew their dog license (a fee applies). Town Clerk staff will be on site to issue/renew dog licenses. The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter will waive all adoption fees, and will include age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping with every adoption. In addition, Town residents may have their cat or licensed dog microchipped free of charge. https://hempsteadny.gov/calendar.aspx?EID=1580
