Political Polarization: It’s Ugly, and There’s No End in Sight

Join Professor and KCCI-TV political analyst Dennis Goldford, for a presentation on the polarizing state of politics and how we got here. American politics has entered a troubling if not potentially dangerous era that erupted in the 2020 elections, but this era did not begin and will not end with the Trump presidency. Why? This presentation will discuss the major factors that have led to our current political conflicts and the challenges we now face. This program is free to attend and open to the public. Sponsored by Humanities Iowa and the Newton Public Library Foundation. https://www.newtongov.org/calendar.aspx?EID=11848
