Sundays at the Shelter pet adoption

The Henrico Police Animal Shelter is hosting an outdoor pet adoption event (rain or shine). Cats and dogs are looking for loving homes!

Community members are invited to meet pets available for adoption and help future animals in need of care. Thanks to the sponsorships from Henrico Humane Society, Furbish Thrift and the William A. Harrison Jr. Foundation , any dogs who are already spayed or neutered are ready to go home with their new families the same day as adoption!

Pets who have not already been spayed or neutered will have additional fees for their procedures. The spay or neuter will be scheduled upon adoption and will be ready to go home with their families shortly after!
