Celtic Halloween Tree Tales

Celebrate the Halloween season with the Urban Park Rangers as we explore the Celtic origins of the holiday and the traditions that shaped it. Participants will learn about the lunar-based Celtic Tree Astrology system and discover which “tree” aligns with their birth cycle. Rangers will also guide a hands-on tree identification activity using bark and leaf characteristics from common Staten Island species. Costumes encouraged.
