Financial Controller / CFO | Kearny, NJ · $150k+/Year About the Role This is a role for a finance leader who wants full ownership of the numbers. You'll run accounting, budgeting, and reporting end to end — keeping cash flow tight, forecasts sharp, and every figure accurate and compliant. This is a product-based business that's been running on legacy systems, so there's real room to modernize — bringing fresh processes and a sharper operation where things have been done the old way for a while. Leadership will lean on you for the financial clarity that drives real decisions. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Reporting Manage all aspects of accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting Prepare monthly and annual reports for management review Cash Flow & Planning Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning Support leadership with data-driven insights and financial analysis Compliance & Process Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies Streamline financial systems and processes for greater efficiency Modernize legacy financial systems and processes, introducing new approaches where operations have relied on older methods Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior accounting role Highly detail-oriented and analytical Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Interested?
