Tennis Desk Associate

About the role

The Staenberg-Loup JCC is looking for a Tennis Desk Associate to help create a fun and safe environment at its tennis center. The Tennis Desk Associate serves as the central hub for the tennis center and acts as the JCC's first line of communication with members.

Responsibilities:

• Greet members and guests enthusiastically and answer telephone calls

• Assist guests and new members with tours and membership onboarding; promote memberships

• Execute opening and closing procedures

• Assist members with purchases of retail goods and services

• Stay knowledgeable about all programs and activities offered

• Help keep a clean and fully stocked workplace

Requirements

• Minimum 16 years old under Department of Labor guidelines
• Minimum one year of customer service experience
• Ability to stand for several hours and lift 25 lbs.
• First-Aid certification, strong communication, basic accounting skills, and advanced multitasking preferred
• Salary: $19.29 - $22.00 per hour.
• Benefits: This part-time position is not benefits-eligible. Voluntary benefit plans are available, along with a 401(k) plan with no waiting period for employees over 21, day-one accrued Paid Time Off, and part-time staff discounts and perks.
