The JCC Early Childhood School provides a high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum that encourages development, curiosity, imagination, and self-esteem. The school serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, or ability, and features a low child-teacher ratio.
Responsibilities: • Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation, learning, and fun • Assist with activity planning and preparation of materials and supplies for daily use • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment and maintain a clean, safe classroom • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards • Assist in any classroom in order to be in ratio when needed • Be highly mobile and physically able to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, and sit
