Part-Time Zoom & Online Services Coordinator

Temple Isaiah – Lexington, MA Part-Time | $23–$27/hour

Temple Isaiah is seeking a reliable, tech-comfortable individual to support Zoom and online services for weekly worship services, holidays, and special events. This is not an AV engineering position; the role focuses on managing Zoom, service content, presentations, and related online participation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and set up Zoom and streaming events.

• Support weekly worship services, holidays, and special events.

• Open and manage Zoom meetings, including the waiting room and participant access.

• Display and highlight prayers and other service materials at the appropriate times.

• Manage breakout rooms and other Zoom functions as needed.

• Prepare Apple Keynote presentations and other service materials.

• Coordinate with clergy regarding service content and online presentation needs.

• Coordinate recordings and distribution across the Temple's designated platforms.

• Perform basic troubleshooting related to Zoom and presentation functions.

• Assist with preparation before services and follow-up afterward.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Zoom and its meeting-management features.
• Comfortable working with presentation and streaming platforms.
• Reliable and able to work independently during live services.
• Able to follow a worship service and anticipate when prayers, slides, and other materials should be displayed.
• Familiarity with Jewish worship, prayers, and rituals is preferred.
• Professional AV or audio-engineering experience is not required .
• Ability to coordinate effectively with clergy and Temple staff.
• Schedule
• Primarily Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings, with additional availability for holidays and special events.
• A typical service or event is expected to involve approximately 2–3 paid hours , including, the service itself, and necessary follow-up.
• Compensation: $23–$27 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
