Position Overview:A growing logistics and supply chain company is seeking a full-time Senior Bookkeeper to join its team in Carteret, NJ. This is a high-impact position that works directly with company leadership to provide visibility into the organization's cash position and short-term financial outlook.Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableProcess invoicing, vendor payments, and collections follow-upPerform bank and credit card reconciliationsMaintain the general ledger, including journal entriesAssist with month-end close and financial reportingCommunicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payments and discrepanciesSupport day-to-day accounting and administrative functionsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all financial dataQualifications:3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, cash management, or financial analysis experienceStrong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger accountingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reportingStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 DOEHealth insurance benefits401(k) planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunity to work closely with leadershipTeam-oriented work environmentAbout the Employer:This organization is a logistics and supply chain solutions provider dedicated to delivering efficient and reliable services.
