Position OverviewA growing packaging and industrial solutions company is seeking a full-time Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts across the organization. This individual will be responsible for screening applicants, conducting phone interviews, coordinating hiring activities, and helping ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.The ideal candidate has prior recruiting or HR experience, strong communication skills, and enjoys building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This role will also assist with various HR administrative and generalist functions as needed.ResponsibilitiesReview and screen incoming applicationsConduct phone interviews and evaluate candidate qualificationsSchedule and coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managersMaintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring processSource candidates through job boards, referrals, and recruiting platformsTrack candidate activity and maintain accurate records within recruiting systemsCollaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirementsAssist with interview feedback collection and hiring decisionsSupport onboarding and pre-employment processes for new hiresAssist with HR-related projects and generalist tasks as neededHelp ensure a positive candidate and employee experienceQualifications2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience preferredExperience screening candidates and conducting phone interviewsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneouslyProficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferredProfessional, resourceful, and self-motivatedAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgmentBachelor's degreeCompensation & Benefits$70,000-$80,000 annual salaryHealthcare benefits & PTOCareer growth and development opportunitiesAbout the EmployerOur client is a well-established packaging and industrial solutions provider serving businesses throughout the Northeast.
