Salary Ranges: $25 - $27 per hour commensurate with experience. Job Competencies and Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) and a minimum of two years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and groups of older adults, and the general public.
• Basic technical skills are required. Able to perform data entry.
• Must be computer literate with proficient skills in Microsoft Office”
• Ability to read, write and speak English and at least one other language that is used in the community preferred (e.g., Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Urdu, Hindi).
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin or Urdu preferred.
Working Condition
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and sometimes up to 25 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be able to attend meetings and other out-of-office functions by using public or private transportation or other conveyance, including climbing stairs when necessary
