Afternoon Position

Breuer's is seeking a dedicated and engaging Math Teacher to join our girls' school. The teacher will teach mathematics to students in Grades 4, 6, 7, and 8 during the afternoon program.

Responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to students in Grades 4, 6, 7, and 8.

• Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and appropriately challenging math lessons.

• Develop students' computational skills, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

• Assess student progress through classwork, homework, quizzes, and tests.

• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.

• Communicate with parents and collaborate with colleagues regarding student progress.

• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; background in mathematics or education preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong classroom-management and communication skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Experience in a Jewish day school setting is helpful but not required.
