A well-established, growing supplier of home and commercial fixtures, decor and supplies, selling to homeowners, designers and contractors across multiple channels. Their e-commerce and wholesale business is growing fast, and they want the systems behind it to keep up.
About the role
We are looking for an AI Automation + Systems Integration Specialist to work in-house in Brooklyn. You will connect the company's business software, automate manual reporting, and give leadership a clear view of sales trends. The company already works with an outside consultant. You will be the person who makes that consultation fruitful: you take the consultant's recommendations and turn them into working systems.
What you will do
• Work with the outside consultant and leadership, and turn recommendations into working processes and systems
• Improve and streamline existing processes and systems across sales, inventory, orders and finance
• Connect business software and data sources so information flows without manual entry
• Automate manual reporting and build dashboards that show sales trends clearly
• Use AI tools and automation platforms to remove repetitive work
• Document what you build and train the team to use it
What we are looking for
• About 3+ years in systems integration, business systems, automation or operations technology
• Hands-on experience connecting software through APIs and automation tools (for example Zapier, Make, scripting) and working with CRM, ERP, e-commerce or accounting platforms
• Strong reporting and dashboard skills
• Comfortable taking direction from a consultant and owning the implementation
• A practical problem solver who improves processes without being asked
