Job Description
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for managing electrical estimate requests from the time they are received until they are completed and submitted.
Main Responsibilities
• Receive and review new electrical estimate requests.
• Review plans, project details, and customer information.
• Become familiar with reading electrical plans, including regular electrical layouts, HVAC electrical requirements, service/main work, and main pricing items.
• Prepare electrical takeoffs and pricing for estimates.
• Be the point of contact for each estimate until it is completed.
• Follow up with customers when more information, plans, or details are needed.
• Make sure each estimate is reviewed and submitted within one week of being received.
Additional Information
• This position is an office job; you will be behind a computer screen or on the phone.
• Full time and non-remote.
