Purchaser - Building Material Supplier
Position Overview
A building material supplier is seeking a full-time Buyer to support operations and make sure products are sourced and available on time. This position works closely with suppliers, sales, and operations to manage inventory, handle purchase orders, and support customer service, including sourcing new products.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Communicate with suppliers about pricing, lead times, and order status
- Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment
- Coordinate with sales and operations to meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor records
- Source new products and suppliers
- Look for ways to improve how we do things and take part in process improvements
Requirements
1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or administrative experience preferred
