You are here: Home | Search for a Job Back To Search Results Location and Job Title: Director of Annual Giving, Events and Sponsorships JCC of Stamford 1035 Newfield Ave Stamford, CT 06905 Principal Responsibilities: Position SummaryThe Director leads and grows the JCC's annual campaign, fundraising events and sponsorship program, and strengthens donor engagement across the organization. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on fundraiser who is highly organized, entrepreneurial and energized by both building relationships and getting things done. Key Responsibilities Lead the annual campaign, including strategy, segmentation, appeals, renewals and upgradesManage and grow the portfolio of fundraising events, including revenue goals, logistics, volunteers and follow-upBuild the sponsorship program by developing packages and cultivating local business and corporate partnersSet contributed income goals with the Vice President of Advancement and report on progressMove event attendees and annual donors into deeper givingWork with Marketing and Advancement operations on donor communications, gift processing and stewardshipRecruit and work with volunteer leaders and committees Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications Required Bachelor's degreeAt least 4 years of nonprofit fundraising or closely related experience, with success in annual giving, events, sponsorships or donor engagementExperience planning fundraising eventsExperience with donor databases and fundraising reportingStrong writing, organization and project management skillsExperience developing sponsorship packagesExperience working with boards and committeesOffice work with regular evening and weekend eventsAbility to stand for extended periods at events and to lift up to 25 pounds Preferred Physical Requirements and Schedule Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance; 403(b) retirement plan with employer match; paid time off; employee discount; complimentary JCC membership.
