Accounts Receivable Representative Build a career, not just a résumé. As a global industry leader in logistics and customs brokerage, we're looking for someone who wants more than a job. We want a teammate who's ready to put down roots, grow with a company that's going places, and be part of a team that wins together. If you're tired of revolving-door workplaces and want an employer that invests in you for the long haul, keep reading. Why This Role Is Different This isn't a "sit in a corner and chase invoices" position. As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you'll own your own portfolio of customer accounts and become the trusted voice our customers rely on. You'll work side by side with our Sales, Brokerage, Operations, and Accounting teams, gaining a 360-degree view of how a global freight forwarding and customs brokerage business really runs. That exposure is your launchpad. The people who thrive here learn the business from the inside out, and we're committed to growing our own talent. Show us your dedication, and we'll show you a path forward, whether that's deeper into finance and credit, into leadership, or into other areas of the company where your skills shine. Who We're Looking For We can teach you our systems. What we can't teach is who you are. We're looking for someone who brings: A genuine customer-service heart. You know that every call is a chance to build a relationship, even when the conversation is about a past-due balance. Common sense and sound judgment. You read situations well, know when to push and when to listen, and find practical solutions. Tact and diplomacy. You can have a firm conversation while leaving the customer feeling respected and valued. Positive, upbeat energy. You're the person who lifts the mood of a room, and your attitude is contagious in the best way. Loyalty and commitment. You're looking for a place to stay, grow, and build something meaningful over time. What You'll Do Take ownership of an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and see collections through to resolution. Review aging reports daily and prioritize your efforts for maximum impact. Connect with customers by phone and email to resolve outstanding invoices in a professional, friendly way. Provide invoices, statements, proofs of delivery, and supporting documents when customers need them. Secure payment commitments, track them, and follow up on promised dates. Keep detailed, accurate notes of every customer interaction in our systems. Investigate invoice disputes and partner with Brokerage, Operations, Sales, and Accounting to resolve them quickly. Spot payment trends and flag accounts that need extra attention. Keep the AR Manager informed of significant concerns, high-risk accounts, or customers nearing credit limits. Follow credit hold procedures and help communicate account holds with professionalism and care. Keep customer records and contact information current. Support month-end collection efforts and other AR projects as needed. What You Bring Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Professional phone presence and strong customer service skills. Strong organization and sharp attention to detail. Confidence making outbound calls (and maybe even enjoying them). Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF software, and web-based applications. Eagerness to learn new software. Accounts receivable, collections, or customer service experience is a big plus. Freight forwarding, customs brokerage, logistics, or transportation experience is a big plus, but not required for the right person. What Success Looks Like You stay consistent and focused in your daily collection activity. Customers enjoy working with you, and cash collections improve because of the relationships you build. Your documentation is thorough and accurate. Colleagues across departments see you as a reliable, collaborative partner. You own your accounts and follow through every time. Experience Experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service is a definite plus, and freight or logistics background even more so. But here's the truth: we hire people, not résumés. What matters most to us is natural ability, a polished and professional presentation, and a positive, can-do attitude. If you're sharp, personable, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed. The right person with the right attitude will always stand out here, regardless of how many years they've logged. Ready to Grow With Us? If you're looking for a company where hard work is noticed, teamwork is real, and your future matters, we'd love to meet you.
