IT Support Technician

Location:  Topeka, Kansas

Remote / Work From Home with Frequent On-Site Client Visits

Salary: $40K/$45K DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide remote technical support and hands-on assistance at client locations. The ideal candidate has basic IT troubleshooting skills, is comfortable managing support tickets independently, and is willing to travel frequently to resolve technical issues on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

• Travel to client locations to provide hands-on technical support.

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other hardware.

• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.

• Communicate professionally with clients and team members regarding support requests.

• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.

• Provide reliable, responsive customer service for all technical support needs.

Requirements

• Basic IT troubleshooting and hardware support experience.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and support workflows.
• Working knowledge of Windows computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic understanding of networking and connectivity issues.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in an IT support or help desk role.
• Familiarity with common IT support tools and basic networking concepts.
