As a Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and access-control procedures in accordance with facility policies. Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and unusual activities. Minimum Requirements: Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
