Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead daily operations, develop teams, and drive growth across an assigned state or region within a growing healthcare services organization.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building operations, solving problems, and making things happen.
You'll oversee the operational processes that connect patients with services, support clinical staffing and scheduling, and identify opportunities to expand capacity and improve performance.
We're looking for a leader who brings ownership, sound judgment, adaptability, and strong follow-through, not someone who needs every process perfectly defined before taking action.
Key Responsibilities
•
Daily Operations: Lead the operations team, establish effective workflows, manage priorities, and ensure consistent execution.
•
Patient Onboarding: Coordinate processes that move families toward services, including communication, insurance eligibility, authorizations, and follow-up.
•
Scheduling & Service Capacity: Align provider availability with patient needs and authorized hours, improve utilization, and resolve scheduling gaps.
•
Team Leadership: Coach, train, and develop operational employees while establishing accountability and building a strong team culture.
•
Growth & Staffing: Partner with Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and outreach teams to address staffing needs, expand service capacity, and support growth.
•
Operational Improvement: Track onboarding progress, staffing gaps, cancellations, and service delivery metrics; maintain accurate CRM information and implement practical improvements.
Qualifications
•
At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a team.
•
Demonstrated success building, improving, or expanding an operation, department, or business function.
•
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
•
Experience solving operational problems, improving processes, and delivering measurable results.
•
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across teams and leadership levels.
•
Resourceful, adaptable leadership style with the ability to translate business goals into action.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience in ABA, healthcare, home health, behavioral health, or another service-based operation.
