Vintage 30 in Latin American Machete with Hand Tooled Floral Leather Sheath and Braided Ties

Old school full size machete, about 30 in overall with a 24 in blade and a riveted black handle. It comes in a hand tooled leather sheath about 32 in long with floral carving, braided leather ties, brass rivets and colored fringe. A real piece of work, not a factory sheath.

Honest condition: the blade has age patina and some spotting, the sheath shows wear and cracking along the edges but is fully intact and holds the blade. All original. Great for a collector, a wall display or a working brush blade. Approx. value $45 to $60 for comparable sets.
